  MIAMI,Florida, August 14th marks the 9th Annual Miami Peace Festival. Each year between 7th & 10th Avenue on the historic Martin Luther King Boulevard (northwest 62nd street), the streets of the city of Miami are transformed as a symbol of peace. Individuals from the Tri-County area, the entire state of Florida, and artists from all over the nation travel to take part in this historic event.
  
  The Miami Peace Fest is world renowned for its music. Upcoming artists and highly recognized famous faces visit the Miami Peace Fest to perform on stage. Artists such as Rick Ross, Flo'Rida, Black Dada, Trina, Alizé Levy and several others are scheduled to perform. This year's festival is being hosted by Def Jam recording artist Nas. Over the course of his career, Nas has been categorized as a lyrically in-touch hip-hop socialist. The organisers are estatic to have such an icon to represent the Miami Peace Festival.
